Weekend Garden & Tea Party No. 1 ~ Pale French Beauty

Hello! And welcome to the kick off of the Weekend Garden & Tea Party! So happy to have you join us. As I mentioned in the previous post, I am so excited! For a while now I have been wanting to host a link-up but I just did not have the time. More specifically a weekend linkup about gardening and tea. Back when I started blogging in 2010, there used to be many linkups about these two topics, but then they disappeared, which was sad for me because I really enjoy these two topics.

I love gardening, and I love tea as much. Something about the intentionality of slowing down and being present in the moment, speaks to an intrinsic need within me. You just cannot hurry through gardening or tea service to full appreciate it. And I know I am not the only one who enjoys a good garden and tea gathering.

So, let’s get started— Today’s post is all about my mental state of mind— Spring! I am ready for winter to be over to get working on my garden. I am craving green, petals, and even dandelion weeds. LOL

And to transport us to that beautiful season, I am sharing with you some images from last spring when the beautiful ‘Menton’ tulip made its debut in my garden for the first time. The beautiful petals have the softest and most feminine salmon shade. I find that the petals are a bit more delicate than other tulips, which I think makes them perfect for any design where you want to convey a sense of class, style and above all, femininity. My hope is that you add this beauty to your garden the next time you are planning for the growing season, friends.

Now, let’s get this garden and tea party started! As a friendly reminder, these are some guidelines for the link-up. The guidelines are simple:

  • Link as many posts as you want, but posts topics must be about garden or tea related.

  • Visit other bloggers participating in the link-ups. That is the point of a link-up :)

  • Share the link-up with others. The more the merrier!

I cannot wait to see what y’all share! Happy weekend!
